Music therapy helps people to develop skills, adapt behavior, and overcome obstacles in their lives. Music therapists use different kinds of musical experiences, including improvising, performing, composing, and listening, along with talking about people’s experiences, to meet clients’ needs by utilizing the unique relationship between the client, the music, and the therapist.
